Connect Loup to Wi-Fi

Pair your Loup to home or school Wi-Fi using the parent app.

Download the Loup parent app on iOS or Android and sign in with the email you used to order. Plug Loup in to charge — setup works best with at least 20% battery.

Pair the device

In the app, tap Add Loup and follow the on-screen prompts. Loup will display a pairing code on its e-ink strip; enter it in the app to link the device to your account.

Choose a network

Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Loup connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi — if your router splits bands, pick the 2.4 GHz network or enable a combined SSID.

Adding External Networks (School, Friends, Family)

Because Loup is screen-safe and has no keyboard, your child cannot connect to new Wi-Fi networks on their own. You can manage and add additional trusted networks at any time from Settings → Wi-Fi in the parent app. Going to a friend's house? Pre-load the network credentials in your app, and Loup will connect automatically when they arrive. Note: Some school or public networks require web-based IT approval (captive portals); contact your school if Loup cannot join their guest Wi-Fi.
